Where does A+ Content appear on Amazon?
Amazon A+ Content is displayed at the bottom of the product detail page, under the section called “From the Publisher.”
Your potential customers will be able to located your A + content by scrolling right past your book description.
The location can vary at times, but in most cases it can be found close to the bottom of the page right before the “Products related to this item” section.
Which Amazon Marketplaces Accept A + Content?
You need to create and publish A+ Content separately for each marketplace where you want it to appear. Amazon KDP allows you to create A + Content for the following marketplaces:
- Amazon.com
- Amazon.ca
- Amazon.com.au
- Amazon.co.uk
- Amazon.de
- Amazon.es
- Amazon.fr
- Amazon.com.mx
- Amazon.com.br
- Amazon.nl
- Amazon.it
A + Content can be managed and published on various marketplaces.
How to Create Amazon A+ Content?
Let’s jump on into the step-by-step process of creating A+ Content for your Amazon KDP book.
Step 1: Navigate to Bookshelf
Head on over to your KDP dashboard and navigate to your book shelf tab. Once you are inside of your bookshelf, choose the book that you will be creating A + Content for.
Step 2: Select Promote and Advertise
Next you will need to go to the far right of your selected book, and click on the 3 dots.
From the list of options, you will click on the “Promote and Advertise” option.
Step 3: Choose Your Marketplace
To locate the A + Content section, scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Under the “Choose a Marketplace” tab, select the marketplace where you will be uploading your A + Content.
Step 4: Manage A + Content
Once you select your marketplace, the yellow button ” Manage A + Content” will appear.
After choosing your selected marketplace, and clicking on the “Manage A + Content” button, you will be directed to the A + Content Manager.
Step 5: Start Creating A + Content
Click on the blue “Start Creating A + Content” button
Step 6: Enter Content Details
Enter the name of your content, choose your language, and then you will click the “Add Module” button at the bottom of the page.
Step 7: Add a Module
You can now select the modules that you would like to use in your A + Content.
You will see a large selection of modules that you can use to create your Amazon A + Content. Here is a list of the choices you have for creating your A + Content for your KDP book:
- Standard Company Logo: This option holds a company logo in the dimensions of 600×180 pixels.
- Standard Comparison Chart: The standard comparison chart allows you to add tables to compare your books. Unfortunately, you are not permitted to display competitor’s books in your comparison charts. You could use this module to compare other related books that you have published.
- Standard Four Image & Text: You can use tis particular module to display 4 separate features of your book.
- Standard Four Image/Text Quadrant: This option is similar to the Standard Four Image & Text. The difference between the two options is the layout.
- Standard Image & Dark Text Overlay: You can add a larger image that includes text over the top with a dark tinted overlay.
- Standard Image & Light Text Overlay: This module is similar to the module above. Instead of a dark text overlay, this option includes a light text overlay.
- Standard Image Header with Text: For tis module, you can include a standard size image that has text featured under the image.
- Standard Multiple Image Module A: You can add multiple images to give your customers a clear image of what to expect from your book.
- Standard Product Description Text: This module gives you the option to include some key information about your book, or information about your brand.
- Standard Single Image & Highlights: A single image that includes space to add in highlights of your book.
- Standard Single Image & Sidebar: This module is similar to the module above, but includes a sidebar.
- Standard Single Image & Specs Detail: A single image that includes an area to add specs detail of your book.
- Standard Single Left Image: A single image positioned on the left side that also includes some text.
- Standard Single Right Image: A single image positioned on the right side that also includes some text.
- Standard Technical Specifications: This module provides you with the ability to add a table to your product details page. It is particularly useful for physical product sellers, but you have the freedom to plug in some key information that may be useful to your customers. In the past, we have used this section as a before and after for one of our prompt journals.
- Standard Text: Heading and text.
- Standard Three Images & Text: Includes three images with text under the images.
Now, you have an idea of what type of Amazon A + Content you can use to market your books on Amazon’s marketplace. You have the freedom to choose any modules you would like, and can use up to 5 modules to showcase your book.
Step 8: Add Your Images & Preferred Text For Your A + Content
Once you have decided on the module(s) that you will use for creating your A + Content, you will need to add your images and text to your module.
You will also be instructed to add image keywords to your images for the visually impaired buyers.
You may want to consider using a variety of modules for your A + Content, but you will want to be sure to keep the following in mind:
- Use professional images that align with your book’s branding
- Your A + Content should be clear, and help your potential readers under stand your book and brand.
- Your description should be very clear, descriptive, and contain language that your potential customers would use or resonate with.

Step 9: Apply ASINs
After adding all of your A + Content, scroll back up to the top right side of the page and click on the blue “NEXT: “APPLY ASINs” button.
You will need to add your ASINs into the “APPLY ASINS” field, select your book that appears in the search results, and click on the “Apply Content” button.
Step 10: Review & Submit
Click on the “Review & Submit button at the top of the page. You will be redirected to another page where you will need to click on the “Submit for Approval” button at the top right of the page.
How long does it take Amazon to approve A+ content?
Typically, it takes Amazon around 7 business days to review and approve A+ Content submissions.
This review process ensures that the content meets Amazon’s guidelines and quality standards before it goes live on your book’s product page.
Amazon has been known to approve content within just a few business days in some cases.
